The ultimate summer cocktail, made with strawberries and Aperol. The texture is similar to a slush and it’s incredibly refreshing!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen strawberries

  • 2 cups ice

  • 1 cup Aperol

  • ¾ cup orange juice

  • ¾ cup Prosecco

  • ½ cup sparkling water

  • For garnish: fresh strawberries or orange wedges

Instructions

  • In a blender, add 2 cups of frozen strawberries, 2 cups of ice, 1 cup of Aperol, and ¾ cup of orange juice. Blend for about 2 minutes, until it reaches a slushy texture.
  • Add ¾ cup of Prosecco and ½ cup of sparkling water. Blend for an additional 30 seconds.
  • Pour into 4 glasses and garnish with fresh strawberries or orange wedges.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

  • I like to freeze Quebec strawberries for this recipe. To do this, thoroughly clean them and remove the stems. Place the strawberries on a baking sheet in the freezer for 1 hour. Transfer the strawberries to a bag or airtight container
