There’s nothing more festive than a baked brie that turns deliciously gooey! Here, I’m offering you three ways to prepare it: Apricots and Walnuts / Roasted Garlic, Maple, and Prosciutto / Hot Honey!

Ingredients

  • 1) Apricot and Walnuts
  • 1 round brie cheese

  • Store-bought apricot jam

  • Chopped walnuts

  • A few rosemary sprigs

  • 2) Roasted Garlic, Maple and Prosciutto
  • 1 round brie cheese

  • 1 or 2 whole garlic bulbs

  • Maple syrup

  • 3-4 slices of prosciutto

  • 3) Hot Honey
  • 1 round brie cheese

  • Honey

  • Crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions

  • 1) Apricot and Walnuts
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and place the rack in the middle position.
  • Place the brie in an oven-safe dish. Using a knife, make shallow crosshatch cuts on the top.
  • Add apricot jam, chopped walnuts, and rosemary sprigs on top.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
  • Serve with sliced baguette.
  • 2) Roasted Garlic, Maple and Prosciutto
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and place the rack in the middle position.
  • Slice the garlic bulb(s) horizontally to remove the top. Place in aluminum foil, drizzle with olive oil, and add a pinch of salt. Close the foil around the garlic.
  • Roast in the oven for 40-45 minutes.
  • Press the garlic to release the roasted cloves, and mash into a paste with a knife.
  • Place the brie in an oven-safe dish. Make shallow crosshatch cuts on the top.
  • Spread the roasted garlic paste over the brie and drizzle generously with maple syrup.
  • Place the prosciutto slices on a baking sheet.
  • Bake the prosciutto for 7-10 minutes and the brie for 15-20 minutes.
  • Crumble the crispy prosciutto into small pieces.
  • Top the brie with the crispy prosciutto.
  • Serve with sliced baguette.
  • 3) Hot Honey
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and place the rack in the middle position.
  • Place the brie in an oven-safe dish. Make shallow crosshatch cuts on the top.
  • Drizzle generously with honey and sprinkle with red pepper flakes.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
  • Serve with sliced baguette.
