I love brie with its soft and creamy interior… showcased here by preparing an amazing dip for the aperitif!

Ingredients

  • 1 baguette

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 400g Brie de Meaux

  • 2-3 tbsp honey

  • Crushed red pepper flakes

  • Flaky sea salt

  • Edible flowers to garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F and place the rack in the middle position. Slice the baguette and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush with olive oil. Bake for about 10 minutes, until golden brown.
  • Remove the rind from the brie with a knife, then cut into 1-inch pieces.
  • Place the brie pieces in a food processor. Blend for about 4 minutes, until creamy. Add 1 tbsp of honey and blend for an additional 30 seconds.
  • Spread the whipped brie on the bottom of a plate. Drizzle with 1-2 tbsp of honey, sprinkle with crushed red pepper flakes, flaky sea salt and garnish with edible flowers.
  • Serve with the toasted bread.
