What Milk Should You Use to Make Chia Pudding?
You can choose any kind of milk to prepare your favourite chia pudding. Either a plant-based or whole milk. Really, any milk will work out!
How Long Does Chia Pudding Last?
It takes only 5 minutes to make and can last up to 5 days in your fridge. Make a batch on Sunday and you’ll have a healthy nourishing breakfast that you can grab during the week.
Chia Pudding to Milk Ratio
I recommend using a ratio of 1 to 4, in terms of chia seeds to milk. For me, that’s the best texture. But if you prefer a lighter texture, you can use a 1 to 6 ratio.

Ingredients
Chia Seeds : ¼ cup
Nut Milk : 1 cup
Apple puree : 3 tbsp
Maple Syrup : 1 tbsp
Vanilla extract : 1 tsp
Cinnamon : 1 tsp
Toppings :
- Caramelized Apples
1 apple, diced
½ tsp of cinnamon
1 tbsp of maple syrup
- Optional : extra apple puree and yogurt
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine chia seeds and nut milk.
- Whisk for 30 seconds.
- Add apple puree, maple syrup, vanilla extract and cinnamon. Whisk well to combine, about 1 minute.
- Cover and place in the fridge for at least 2 hours or overnight.
- Make the caramelized apples. In a pan, add diced apple and cinnamon, with a generous splash of water. Cook for about 3-5 minutes until tender. Add maple syrup at the end.
- When you are ready to eat it, place in a glass the chia seeds pudding and top it with apple puree, yogurt and caramelized apples.
