What’s a Chai Spice Mix?

It’s a spicy blend of several spices commonly used to make a chai latte drink. For this recipe I suggest you prepare a mixture based on 6 ground spices:

How to Use a Chai Spice Mix?

Store it in a jar or container

You want to make sure your Chai Spice mix will stay fresh and flavourful. A Mason jar will be a good container to use. It will keep up to 3 months in your pantry.

Ingredients

  • Ground cinnamon: 3 teaspoons

  • Ground cardamom: 2 tsp.

  • Ground ginger: 2 tsp.

  • Allspice (allspice): 1/2 tsp.

  • Ground cloves: 1/2 tsp.

  • Ground nutmeg: 1/2 tsp.

Instructions

  • Combine the spices in a small pot.
  • Store in the pantry.
